Special Issue 2026: Modern Evidence-Based Approaches in Multidisciplinary Dental Care and Oral Rehabilitation

The Galen Medical Journal is pleased to announce a forthcoming special issue entitled “Modern Evidence-Based Approaches in Multidisciplinary Dental Care and Oral Rehabilitation.” This special issue aims to present a comprehensive and critical examination of contemporary evidence-based practices and multidisciplinary strategies in dental care and oral rehabilitation, with particular emphasis on clinical integration, methodological rigor, and translational relevance.

This special issue will be published under the expert guidance of the Guest Editor, Dr. Ashwini Dhopte, whose academic and clinical expertise in multidisciplinary dental care and oral rehabilitation will ensure the scientific quality, thematic coherence, and clinical significance of the selected contributions. Under Dr. Dhopte’s leadership, the issue seeks to address current advances, unresolved challenges, and emerging paradigms in comprehensive dental and oral rehabilitative care.

The special issue will include original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and clinically oriented studies encompassing a broad range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Evidence-based dentistry and clinical decision-making frameworks

  • Multidisciplinary treatment planning and integrated care models

  • Comprehensive oral and full-mouth rehabilitation

  • Prosthodontic and implant-based rehabilitation strategies

  • Periodontal and peri-implant disease management

  • Oral and maxillofacial surgical interventions

  • Restorative and esthetic dentistry within comprehensive care

  • Orthodontic considerations in complex rehabilitation cases

  • Digital dentistry, CAD/CAM technologies, and workflow optimization

  • Dental biomaterials and regenerative therapeutic approaches

  • Evaluation of long-term outcomes and oral health–related quality of life

Submissions are invited from clinicians, researchers, and academicians engaged in dental sciences and related medical disciplines. All manuscripts will undergo the Galen Medical Journal’s standard rigorous peer-review process to ensure methodological robustness, ethical integrity, and scientific merit.
